MLS Future Odds

Currently there are no futures available.

MLS futures markets give fans the chance to win money by predicting the outcome of a competition or event.

Sometimes referred to as outrights, future markets are sometimes available months or years in advance of the completion of the competition.

MLS futures markets are popular with fans as they often offer big odds on long-term events.

Predict the future

Typical MLS futures markets include:

  • MLS Cup winners - who will win the overall title?
  • Supporters’ Shield champion - which team will earn the most regular season points?
  • Conference champions - who rules the East and wins in the West?
  • CONCACAF Champions League - who will win the title?
  • Campeones Cup - Who wins the battle against Mexico?
  • All-Star game - who wins the showpiece match?

US National team bets

As well as MLS futures markets, most US sportsbooks offer outright odds on the US national teams in international competitions, such as success in the men’s and women’s FIFA World Cup and qualification for those tournaments.

Sportsbooks will also offer futures markets on global club competitions, including:

  • English Premier League futures
  • Spanish La Liga futures
  • German Bundesliga futures
  • French Ligue 1 futures
  • UEFA Champions League futures
  • UEFA Europa League
  • UEFA EURO futures

Picking the winners

Betting on MLS futures can be highly rewarding, but how do you pick winners? At the start of each season or competition, each team’s credentials must be assessed. How strong is the squad? Who is the manager? Do they have a track record of success?

Another point to note is that MLS futures market remain open after the event has started, often right up until there the winner is determined, so one tactic is to wait for a the season to start, monitor all the teams closely and make a more informed decision based on what you’ve seen.
